Through her work as director of Evolution Yoga from 2006-2015, Susan has established herself as a deeply respected leader in our local prenatal, postpartum, and parenting circles. She is a wealth of knowledge and information for pregnant families and a compassionate, gentle voice of support for parents..
Susan has had the honor of supporting over 120 families in birth/postpartum as a certified labor and trained postpartum doula, and as a certified childbirth educator she has taught hundreds of couples in her popular yoga and birth workshops. In 2016 she was a featured presenter at the UVM Womens’ Health Conference with a workshop entitled “Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga – Benefits and Practice.” In the spring of 2018 she was an educator for our local UVMMC labor and delivery staff in hands-on labor support. She received her initial 200 hour yoga teacher certification from OM Yoga in 2001. She is a trainer for Yoga 4 Classrooms where she works with educators to teach them tools to bring yoga into their classroom/school setting. Susan has taught in a variety of settings ranging from public school classrooms to after-school programs to yoga studios.
