Prenatal Aqua Fitness @ the new Burlington YMCA
We are thrilled to collaborate with the Greater Burlington YMCA with this new offering for our pregnant community. This series will take place at the YMCA’s new facility opening soon – take the video tour here and see the BEAUTIFUL pool!
Working out in water is a great way to stay fit and healthy during your pregnancy. Prenatal aqua fitness gives the joints and bones a natural support while exercising and can reduce pregnancy swelling, combat restless leg and muscle cramping by increasing circulation (goodbye charlie horses!) and help with low back pain, digestion and balance. In this fun and upbeat prenatal aquafit class led by Jessica Ticktin, you will safely develop core abdominal strength, stability and flexibility through specific exercises and water resistance.
Thursdays 7:15-8 am for January
Beginning Feb. 7, class changes to Fridays 8-8:45 am
