Mindfully return to movement and exercise after having a baby with our Postnatal Strength Training Class. This class is suitable from 6 weeks+ post birth, once clearance has been received by your medical practitioner (OB/midwife).
The Postnatal Strength Training Class is an excellent way for new moms (up to around 18 months postpartum) to return to exercise. You may bring your baby with you until she/he begins crawling. Our main focuses for this class are rebuilding the abdominal muscles, reconnecting the abdominal and pelvic floor system, and creating solid movement patterns. The class will also address many postpartum topics and concerns including diastasis recti, pelvic floor dysfunction, symphysis pubis dysfunction, breath work, proper breastfeeding alignment, return to high impact exercise, and much more.
