Jessica has a B.A in English Literature from McGill University and an M.A in Education.  She is a CAPPA certified childbirth educator since 2012. For over a decade, birth and motherhood have been the focus of her life. She is passionate about the transformative nature of birth and the need for women’s support networks. Jessica is a founder and facilitator of women’s groups in Vermont (VerMamas) and New Jersey (MOMentum) that help support and guide women through the transition into motherhood as well as during professional and personal life transitions. She has spent years as an aqua fit instructor and lifeguard before moving to Vermont.

Jessica is a contributing writer for Kids Vermont Magazine and freelance writer for both local and national publications.  She is also an independent audio producer for local art exhibits and organizations and has written and produced radio documentaries for VPR and NPR. Jessica lives in Burlington with her husband and their four children.
